Overview
Zappin is a music listening companion that works with your music library and playlists. It plays shorter moments from songs and automatically moves through your music in a more dynamic way.
We aim to keep data use minimal and focused on what is necessary to provide the app experience, improve reliability, and support optional features such as purchases and background playback.
Information We Collect
Zappin may access or process the following types of information:
- Media Library data: song, artist, album, playlist, playback duration, artwork, and related metadata from your device music library, only to provide the app’s playback experience.
- Playback state and app preferences: settings such as selected playback duration, whether background playback is active, and local state needed for the app to continue working properly.
- In-app purchase status: information needed to determine whether Zappin Pro is active through Apple’s StoreKit system.
- Identifiers: a device or app instance identifier, including a push notification token, used to support notification delivery, app functionality, and service reliability.
- Diagnostics: crash data and other diagnostic data used to monitor reliability, investigate issues, and improve performance.
- Other data: anonymous analytics and service-related usage data used to understand app performance and improve the experience.
Based on the current App Store privacy configuration for Zappin, this data is not used for tracking and is not linked to your identity.
